Picross Meets Minesweeper
Proverbs is a picross/minesweeper hybrid featuring a single ENORMOUS puzzle. If you know how to play minesweeper, you already know how to play a Mega Mosaic! The numbered clues (0-9) indicate how many light tiles must be placed within 1 square of the clue.
As you solve the puzzle, you gradually reveal a pixel art recreation of Bruegel the Elder's enigmatic painting "Netherlandish Proverbs" - featuring over 100 illustrations of 16th century dutch proverbs and idioms, many of which will still be familiar today.
